My first baby will be home Sunday. I can't wait to get him back. He has been with my parents since last July's extended California stay. Isn't he Beautiful!
When we sent him over last year we sent him through a German animal cargo company. Great way to ship animals but somewhat expensive. We were going to get him back in January but we would have had to go the same route so we decided to wait til David could bring him home. When he flies commercially with a person he is only $100. So Delta is bringing him home.
$100 per animal with a maximum of two per person. Small flights like the ones that go from Montgomery to Atlanta are only two animals per plane. Thats taking them as extra baggage and putting them under the plane in kennels. Doing it that way the animal plus the kennel has to add up to no more than 100lbs. Yours may actually be able to stay on the plane with you if they are under I think 20lb and them in their travel kennel can fit under your seat. And then I think it may not cost extra for them to fly or it's only like $25. Not 100% sure about on the plane animals as I don't have any.
