8 Days til Oahu!
Oahu's North shore is home to one of the most famous surf spots. The Banzai Pipeline. These waves on an average day range in height from 2 feet to 25+ feet. In the winter time at Waimea Beach the waves can reach as high as 50+ feet. Some of you may recognize the name or site from the movie Blue Crush.
Surfing was first showcased to Europeans in the Polynesian island of Tahiti back in the late 1700's.

Thats so awesome - I can't wait to see the pictures. ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!!!
kiddo is DEFINITELY going with us. It will be an interesting ride. She was sooooooo good when we came back from CA that she slept almost the entire flight, however, she was only 3 weeks old. Now being 5 months, she LOVES to be awake for up to 4 hours at a time.
