I'M BACK!!!

...and thankfully baby bean is over her jet-lag. She, by the way, was the perfect little flyer. They have these really cool bassinets that bolt into the bulk head on planes now and she slept wonderfully for all the flights. I am really starting to get nervous about the next child. Whenever it comes I don't know how it could possibly be this easy going as well. Oh well.

HAWAII was wonderful! You should all know that we have put in for an assignment there and should know an answer by the end of the month. If we get it, unfortunately the chances are not good, I expect to see each and every one of you out there sometime in the next 3 years.

You may be sad to hear that I wound up doing none of the things I posted about on my count down. Instead, Mr. Bean arranged for his sister and brother-in-law to babysit while he took me out on a dinner cruise around Diamond Head. It was so beautiful and nice to have a break out together.

My pictures are huge so until I get them all sized down a bit there will only be few posted over several days. Here are a few...

The Arizona Memorial. You really can't understand the feeling of shock and awe until you are standing there looking down at the sunken ship watching the oil from the fuel tanks make it's way to the surface. Truely speechless the feeling you get.

Here is Mr. Bean and I at our Luau. It was very disappointing if you have in mind the type luau you seen portrayed on tv. It was not on the beach, in the sand, with big fire around you and dancers to watch. The show was in another location all together and as you can see, here we ate our feast at tables set up under a huge metal building. The was good though.
