HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I know it's early, but....................I couldn't resist. Isn't she adorable?! The outfit was bought for her by grandparents before she was born and it was a 3/6 month outfit. Well, I had to scrunch her up a bit to get her in it but it was so worth it for the photo and she didn't seem to mind.

I love this time of year. I really have a hard time deciding which is my favorite season; Winter or Fall? I love the fall nonetheless. I love the colors (my favorite being orange), the weather, the smell of harvest and of course I love Halloween. A lot of people don't like Halloween or celebrate it because of the connotations it holds. I however enjoy it and like it's history. The 1st of November is even held in reverence here for the dead. I have been a Halloween fan for ever. I even dressed up in college with the volleyball team and we went trick-or-treating in the swanking Old Cloverdale neighborhoods. It was so much fun. Now trust me, we were not these adults/students that would put on a hat and sunglasses and just go to people's houses for candy. We full out dressed up and were very impressive even next to the 10 and 12 year olds out there all dressed up. I even won the Scariest Halloween costume catagory out on the green my Freshman year for being a dead bride. I'll find the picture one day and share it. I believe it is currently headed to St. Louis with the rest of our belongings. Anyways, hope you are all enjoying your Fall weather and the festivities that abound.

adorable picture...it is one of those photos that Brea can use one day when she becomes a professional book reader whose uniform is a big orange pumpkin and she can tell people that she has ALWAYS wanted to be a big orange pumpkin who reads books- even since she was a little girl :)

Cute picture - and its ok to cram your baby into a super cute halloween outfit bought before she was even born, as long as the season is right. :)

It's actually a Tigger costume. If you look closely at her head you can see one of the ears on the left. Her head was too big for it to fit so they weren't on the top of the head like I believe they were meant.
